This is a written practice. There is no appointment to perform, no script to follow, and no promise of a fixed outcome. The value is in taking the situation seriously enough to look at it carefully.

I began this work in 1975 in Addis Ababa, studying under practitioners who did not advertise and did not teach publicly. What I learned there still shapes how I work: slowly, privately, and with attention to the details of the person in front of me.

I work alone and in writing. You do not need to perform a version of yourself for me, and you do not have to find the perfect question. Send what is true and relevant; I will read what you have actually sent.

A reading is interpretive work, not a promise of a fixed outcome. Ritual commissions are considered separately, and if I cannot do what you need, I will say so before the work begins.
