This policy explains what personal information David the Mystic ("we", "us") collects through davidthemystic.ca and through our advertising, why we collect it, and how you can reach us about it.
What we collect
- Details you give us for readings and spell work. Your name, email address, and whatever you choose to share about your situation, question, or intention. We use this only to prepare and deliver your private written work.
- Contact details from forms and ads. If you fill in a form on this site, or a lead form on Facebook or Instagram, we receive the name, email address, and answers you submit.
- Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal, depending on the option you choose. Your card or PayPal credentials go directly to that processor and never touch our servers. We receive the payment status and transaction details needed to confirm and fulfil the order.
- Usage data. This site can use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to understand how visitors find and use the site, but those tracking scripts are only loaded after you accept optional tracking.
- Tracking choice. If you accept or decline optional tracking, that choice is stored in your browser so the banner does not keep asking.
How we use it
- To prepare and deliver the reading, report, or spell work you asked for.
- To reply when you contact us.
- To send you the result you requested through an ad or form, and occasional emails if you agreed to receive them. Every email includes a way to opt out.
- To measure and improve our site and advertising when you have accepted optional tracking.
What we never do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the content of your readings or the details of your situation with anyone. Your work is prepared privately and sent only to the email address you gave us.
Third parties we rely on
Stripe and PayPal (payments), Google (analytics), Meta (advertising and lead forms), and our email delivery providers. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy. Optional tracking is not needed for checkout or for receiving a private written reading.
How long we keep it
We keep order details and correspondence for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you the information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can opt out of emails using the link in any message. You can also decline optional tracking in the cookie notice. To make any request, write to david@davidthemystic.ca.
