Who This Is For
People deciding whether a private written reading is better than a call.

Working Distinctions
Why writing changes the work
Writing removes the social pressure of a call. I am not reading your face, your tone, or your reaction. I am sitting with the question and committing to the answer in plain text.
When a call is not ideal
If you are distressed, embarrassed, or trying to hide the question from someone nearby, a call can make the situation worse. Written work lets you read privately and pause.
How to use the report
Read it once, leave it alone, then read it again after a day. The second reading is often where the useful part lands.
Before You Send the Request
- Choose email if discretion matters.
- Choose email if you need exact wording.
- Avoid live readings when you are seeking immediate reassurance.
- Keep the report for later comparison.
- Do not use any reading as a substitute for urgent professional help.
Better Questions
- Do I need interaction, or do I need a clear report?
- Will a live conversation make me edit the question?
- Do I need something I can reread later?
